This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their 'Personally Identifiable Information'
(PII) is being used online. PII, as described in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be
used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual
in context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or
otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our app.
What personal information do we collect from the people who use our app?
We DO NOT store any information received from Google API data on our server or transfer to any third-party. All user's personal information are only
stored and processed inside the app installed on user's device.
When do we collect information?
We DO NOT directly or indirectly collect any information from you since we are just a third-party that relies on the Google API Data.

How do we use your information?
We only use your information for in-app display (at upper right section of the app) to show who is currently logged in.
The rest, all the content personalization and curation is done by Google.

Who is requesting Google user data?
The entity that is requesting Google user data is
Youtubeast, a Windows 10 native store app.
What data are we requesting?
Youtubeast uses a scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube
which allows the app to
view and manage your videos, playlists and YouTube activity, including posting
public comments (only with users' initiation). Youtubeast uses the aforementioned scope
to show the personalized content for you such as your home activities, playlists,
subscribed channels, rating for the video and liked videos in the app.
Why are we requesting Google user data?
Youtubeast uses the data to show you personalized contents in the app and provide
a few basic funtionalities such as rating a video (like or dislike), creating a new playlist, adding a video
to playlist and etc. All functionalities with write permission to your Youtube account
will NEVER be triggered automatically or in the background without user's prior initiation, consent and awareness.
How do we protect your information?
Your personal information is contained behind secured Universal Windows Application's encryption also known as UWP Sandbox.
All app's functions are executed on user's device and the app DOES NOT store or processe user's information on the server.
Do we use 'cookies'?
Youtubeast is a native Windows application installed on your device. It does not use any web technologies. So we DO NOT use 'cookies'. HELL NO!
Third-party disclosure
We DO NOT sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information.
Third-party apps integration
We include an optional feature in the app to watch the video in third-party apps by passing a public video ID to the linked apps. We DO NOT transfer or expose
any of your Personally Identifiable Information to these apps. These third-party apps have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content
and activities of these linked apps. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our app and welcome any feedback
about these apps.

California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)
CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy.
The law's reach stretches well beyond California to require any person or company in the United States (and conceivably
the world) that operates websites collecting Personally Identifiable Information from California consumers to post a
conspicuous privacy policy on its website stating exactly the information being collected and those individuals or companies

According to CalOPPA, we agree to the following:
Users can use our app anonymously.
Once this privacy policy is created, we will add a link to it on our home page or as a minimum, on the first significant page after entering our app.
Our Privacy Policy link includes the word 'Privacy' and can be easily be found on the page specified above.
You will be notified of any Privacy Policy changes on our Privacy Policy Page
and you can change your personal information by logging in to your Google account. You need to change this information on the first-party platform which is Google.
Youtubeast does not store your information.
Youtubeast is a Windows 10 containerized store app which means all the tracking signals are handled by Microsoft via the application manifest that requires user consent upfront.
We DO NOT allow third-party behavioral tracking in our app.
When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children's Online
Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, United States' consumer protection
agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children's
privacy and safety online.

have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information
Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect
personal information.
The CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives
recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them, and spells out tough penalties for violations.
